Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our Service team. Reporting to the HVAC Service Manager, you will work with our contractors during installs, start-ups, and help services run smoothly from day one. You will provide expert support in the field and over the phone, troubleshoot technical issues, and get hands-on with industry-leading products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the expert voice for customers on the O'Dell product lineup.
• Start up and commission new systems alongside contractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
• Offer virtual or phone support to installers and technicians for assistance with wiring, piping, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with our Sales team to assist with product layout and integration across a wide range of products.
• Connect with manufacturers to obtain technical information and support materials.
• Attend customer sites to provide hands-on support during installs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and other responsibilities as required.
• Assist with processing warranty claims by working closely with contractors and our internal team to keep the process moving in a timely manner.
• Travel to manufacturer facilities for in-depth product training as required.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Are

• Licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanic and/or G1 Gas Technician.
• Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades.
• Hold a valid G-class driver's license in good standing.
• Willing and able to travel within our service territories (territory dependent on location of hire).
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience with commercial and industrial HVAC service.
• A solid understanding of computers and Microsoft Office, including openness to learning computers and electronics as part of modern HVAC support.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines and customer commitments.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and in extreme temperatures.
