Job summary

Hammer's Heating & Cooling in Pitt Meadows, BC, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential and commercial systems, perform maintenance, and educate customers on options. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, communication, and a valid driver's license.

Gas certifications are a plus. The position offers full-time permanence with a company vehicle, extended health benefits, RRSP match, and opportunities for training and advancement with a growing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with heat pumps, mini-splits, furnaces, and AC systems.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Gas certifications and industry certifications are strong assets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (heat pumps, mini-splits, furnaces, AC)
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
• Present repair and replacement options clearly to homeowners
• Identify opportunities for additional services and system upgrades
• Maintain low callback rates and high workmanship standards
• Support apprentices and junior technicians
• Complete service documentation accurately

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (heat pumps, mini-splits, furnaces, AC)
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
