Broadley's is accepting applications for an experienced HVAC Technician who will work as part of the Service Department team to provide excellent plumbing service to our customer base. Broadley's Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has been family owned and operated since 1911, and continues the tradition of providing excellent HVAC and Plumbing services to our communities in southern New Jersey.

Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Department: Service

Reports to: Service Manager

Work Hours: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with On-Call Rotation Schedule; Overtime as Required

Pay Scale: Base $30/hour with the potential to earn up to $55/hour including Benefits & Spif Programs

Position Summary: To provide service and maintenance on residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential heating and cooling systems, as well as complete assigned preventative maintenance. The service technician is responsible for performing those operations as assigned to them by the Service Manager or Dispatcher.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • 5+ years experience
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting
  • techniques.
  • Experience making repair and replace decisions.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
  • Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner.
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.

Desired Qualifications:

  • EPA Certification
  • Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School
  • NATE Certified
  • Familiar with Flat Rate Billing procedures
  • Insurable driving record
  • Possess tools needed
