TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with Saskatchewan’s leading HVAC equipment supplier and is searching for their new Sales Engineer. Our client has been established for many decades and has a reputation for their great work culture.
They are equipped to take an engineer with strong HVAC experience and train them in the sales process to make them successful in the position.
Their Sales Engineers, on average, earn $175,000 annually, with top performers greatly exceeding this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to equipment inquiries and service-related needs.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers to design and specify custom industrial system solutions for various applications.
- Partner with internal teams, including sales and service departments, to ensure a seamless customer experience from proposal to project completion.
- Lead the end-to-end management of projects, including regular updates to customers and coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotations, working with support staff to gather technical documentation and pricing details.
- Analyze and interpret bid documents, project specifications, and technical requirements to develop accurate equipment recommendations.
- Source equipment from current and prospective suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and technically sound solutions.
- Stay informed on industry products and trends to offer innovative and competitive options to clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field.
- Previous experience in the HVAC or industrial equipment sector is considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project coordination and time management abilities.
