A leading HVAC company in White Rock seeks an HVAC Refrigeration Technician, from 2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman. You will provide service to clients, learning all aspects of the role while diagnosing HVAC issues. Ideal candidates have mechanical knowledge, certification, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive hourly wages of $34 to $66, along with excellent benefits and support for training and development.

Qualifications

  • Registered with ITA; exceptions for out-of-province workers considered.
  • Completed Red Seal Inter-Provincial exam or equivalent.
  • Refrigeration Electrical Endorsement is required or in process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service to various clients throughout Metro Vancouver.
  • Learn all aspects of a Journeyperson's role in HVAC.
  • Service and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Skills

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to lift upwards of 50lb
Available to work overtime

HVAC Refrigeration Technician – 2rd Year Apprentice to Journeyman

$34 to $66 per hour

A day in the life

You will be responsible for providing service to various clients throughout Metro Vancouver. As Apprentices your responsibilities will be to learn all aspects of a Journeyperson\'s role. The journeyman will service and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment, working to attain first time fixes on service calls.

What you bring
  • Registered with ITA . Exceptions may be made for out-of-province workers with the appropriate and equivalent qualifications
  • Completed Red Seal Inter-Provincial exam or equivalent
  • Refrigeration Electrical Endorsement (or attaining)
  • Gas B Ticket an asset
  • Ozone Depleting Substances certification
  • Valid Driver\'s License with a relatively clean driving record
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50lb
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation
  • Able to occasionally travel to work at other locations as needed, or travel for training purposes
