Job description

Ocean Park Mechanical (OPM) is one of the premier design-build mechanical contractors of Western USA and Western Canada, with operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and British Columbia. Purpose of Position :

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Reporting Structure :

HVAC technician, reports directly to their Retro Fit Service Manager or Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine running of Linesets.
• Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Final Hook-up and Commissioning of Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps if JM or assist as an apprentice.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC equipment.
• Servicing of Existing Refrigeration and HVAC Equipment.
• Confer with Service Team, Contractors and Suppliers to resolve any issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards in all work activities.

Experience, Education & Qualifications :

• Journeyman Red Seal or Apprentice in Refrigeration and HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision making.
• Ability to decipher electrical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to meet sensitive timelines.
• Ability to adapt to the changes in day-to-day workloads.
