Where Is The Work

This position is designated as working onsite at various jobsites within the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
  • Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements.
  • Serves as the direct customer contact, servicing products and equipment on projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through diagnosis and repair.
  • Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for installation and repairs, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • May include programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, inspections, site surveys, and service requests.
  • Keeps current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of DDC control systems.
  • Enforces safety standards and maintains security of company assets.
  • Maintains flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight stays as required.
What You Will Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years HVAC/Controls experience; technical training preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
  • Knowledge of DDC controls systems like Tridium Niagara is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends/nights as needed.
Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely and legally.
  • Wearing helmets, goggles, fall protection, and safety boots is required.
  • Physical ability to twist, squat, reach, stand, lift up to 40 lbs., and access rooftops and confined spaces.
  • Exposure to variable weather, mechanical, electrical, and environmental hazards.
