Job summary

BGIS is seeking an HVAC Journeyperson to perform proactive maintenance and repair on HVAC systems across multiple sites in Toronto and surrounding regions. You will troubleshoot issues, implement preventative solutions, and provide clear client support for Chillers and Boilers.

This full-time role requires a 313A license and a minimum G2 Gas License, with potential opportunity for career development within BGIS across related facilities management paths.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 313A License and minimum G2 Gas License required.
• Post-secondary education in related field and/or specific certifications/licenses may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract may be required.
• Pre-employment screening conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive maintenance and repair services for HVAC equipment, including chillers and boilers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; develop and implement preventative solutions; estimate and quote repairs and upgrades; deliver excellent client support.

Job description

HVAC Journeyperson
The HVAC Journeyperson provides proactive maintenance and repair services for HVAC equipment, including Chillers and Boilers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and solving equipment issues, developing and implementing preventative solutions, estimating and quoting repairs and upgrades, establishing and providing excellent client support. 313A License, and minimum G2 Gas License required.

These roles will work in collaboration with all key BGIS departments to ensure full support of all activities and play a key role in our INTEGRATED approach to operating buildings.

Minimum Qualifications:
