Carmichael Engineering is looking for skilled Hvac Journeyman Technicians to join our growing Edmonton Branch, this position will be working fully on-site at one of our clients industrial site. This is a unionized position.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5 years HVAC trades experience (Journeyman)
• Combustion experience considered an asset
• G1 or G2 Gas Ticket an asset
• Oil Burner license considered an asset
• Controls experience considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Work with Management to promote and utilize safe work practices.
