Job Overview

We are looking for highly motivated HVAC Mechanics / Technicians to join Jetson, a company building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification solution. This role focuses on heat pump installations and maintenance in residential settings and involves replacing traditional heating systems with proprietary heat pump systems and controls, while collaborating with engineering teams to refine product functionality and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Install new heat pump systems as per technical and regulatory standards.
• Remove existing heating and cooling systems safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and replacing filters.
• Test and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Adhere to detailed blueprints, schematics, and residential building codes during installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams to enhance product design and installation procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service by effectively addressing client concerns and queries.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic / Technician or similar role
• HVAC / R Red Seal (preferred), but also open to experienced apprentices
• Gas Fitter B (preferred), but also open to experienced apprentices
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with preference for heat pumps
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with residential building codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
