Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an HVAC Install Manager to lead a field operations team and collaborate with local managers to achieve P&L targets. The role focuses on staffing, performance metrics, and developing a Growth through Install mindset to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

You will coach technical professionals, establish relationships with independent contractors, and manage 3rd party partners to meet Reliance’s standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive experience overseeing a field operations team.
• Knowledge and technical experience within the HVAC and/or water heater industry is required.
• Gas Fitter 2 or 313D license would be an asset.
• Sales experience and a demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local Managers to plan, budget and deliver on P&L targets.
• Forecast, update and deliver staffing plans to maximize customer service and meet commitments.
• Measure and drive achievement of operational metrics; provide reporting and analysis.
• Lead and coach a team of Technical professionals to maximize performance and engagement.
• Identify opportunities to establish relationships with Independent HVAC Installation Contractors.
• Manage 3rd party partners and negotiate agreements aligned with Reliance’s strategy.
• Regularly review cost, quality, safety and productivity metrics and drive improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders (Quality, Project Management, Training, HR, Regulatory) to improve team performance.
• Drive service excellence and engage team members/partners to uphold standards.
• Deliver prompt resolution to customer inquiries/complaints and ensure install margins.
