Job Title: Commissioning Technician

Location:9765 54th Street SE, AB

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Journeyman with electrical backround for our testing department to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and testing ICE equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and gas principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Roles/Requirements:

• Start-up and commissioning of units in the shop.
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and equipment.
• Identifying potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues promptly.
• Testing Sequence of operation and working with our programming department.
• Reading blueprints and following layouts to install electrical components.
• Willingness to learn or work on natural gas or propane heating commissioning on HVAC units.
• Strong control troubleshooting ability.
• Complete Quality Check list and Factory Start up form

• Follow Safety protocol

Qualifications:

• HVAC experience and knowledge of working with natural gas or propane heating.
• Knowledge of JIC Piping.
• A Red Seal Journeyman ticket.
• Gas Ticket is an asset
• Refrigeration Ticket is an asset
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in Alberta.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Strong time management, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment for various service projects.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Occasionally you are required to attend site for startup or warranty work.
