This position requires a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Setting

• Room and board provided
• Rural area

Tasks

1. Escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips
2. Assemble camping gear and supplies
3. Operate and maintain firearms
4. Advise on regulations such as hunting, fishing laws, and boating regulations; follow environmental guidelines and prevent violations
5. Prepare meals
6. Set up and take down camps
7. Provide outdoor, wilderness, and wildlife instruction
8. Orienteering and/or survival training
9. Address customer complaints or concerns
10. Assist clients/guests with special needs
11. Administer first aid in emergencies
