Location: Abbotsford, BC, Canada

Dasmesh Punjabi School, a well-established BC-certified KGrade 12 Independent School in Abbotsford, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher for the Secondary level. This position focuses on teaching Career-Life Education 12, Marketing & Promotion, Accounting 11, Economic Theory 12, and Law 12.   • Incorporate a range of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and encourage student engagement and critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic success and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Certified to teach in British Columbia.
  • Specialized experience in humanities subjects at the secondary level, specifically in Career-Life Education, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, and Law.
