Job summary

CareRx is shaping the future of senior care with pharmacy services that improve health outcomes. We seek a Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, screen, and hire for a range of roles from pharmacy operations to leadership, across Western Canada.

You will partner with managers, manage pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, building relationships and balancing high-volume recruitment with a people-first approach.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience (healthcare/pharmacy environments preferred).
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment and multi-province staffing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across the Western region, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Develop partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Build pipelines of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and community outreach.
  • Identify opportunities to build a social media presence and become the go-to SME for external pharmacy candidates.
  • Work closely with HRBP’s to ensure thoughtful communication is transpiring.
  • Craft compelling job postings and ensure consistent employer branding.
  • Support candidates throughout the hiring process with timely, professional communication.
  • Use ATS/HRIS systems to track candidates, update postings, and maintain documentation.
  • Participate in hiring events, job fairs, and local recruitment initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

Role Accountabilities

What You Will Bring to The Team
  • 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience (healthcare or pharmacy environments are a strong asset)
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience supporting high-volume and multi-province recruitment with the ability to understand the business and provide solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands, shifting priorities in a large, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proven track record of leveraging social media as a strategic recruitment tool
  • Strong communication, influencing, innovation, project management and collaboration skills
  • We are a small and mighty team and require a positive contributor to the team
  • Strong work ethic and strong sense of ownership and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requisitions with ease
  • A proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and Microsoft Office tools
