Human Resources Supervisor

We are looking for a Human Resources Professional that will lead our HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement HR processes utilizing the systems available to maximize Effectiveness and Efficiency
  • Coach and Train site management regarding HR Processes and provide HR support in Non-Union and Unionized environments, as appropriate
  • Streamline Recruitment Practices while being ‘Hands-on’ with the Hiring Process
  • Support management in addressing and resolving personnel issues
  • Develop and Oversee an effective WCB Claim Management Process
  • Adherence to the Collective Agreements for 3 separate agreements
  • Administration of the established Health and Safety Program and Corresponding Documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience in an HR role including Recruitment, WCB Management, Workforce Relations, and Performance Management
  • Process driven with ability to develop Systems to Ensure Consistency and Efficiency
  • Self-motivated with Strong Organizational skills, ability to Multi-task and Work Effectively in a Constantly Changing Environment
  • Proven Conflict Resolution and Negotiation Skills
  • Ability to Prioritize and work under Pressure to meet Deadlines
  • Ability to work Independently
  • Strong Technology skills, with the ability to understand and implement an HR Program to Streamline Processes
  • Experience working with Unions and Collective agreements an asset
  • Relevant post-secondary education and CHRP designation an asset
