Job description

Terms: Contract Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week to December 31, 2026

Salary: $39.28 – 46.65 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Officer is responsible for matters involving labour relations, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, benefits, health and safety, and other human resources functions. As a trusted consultant, the Human Resources Officer works with the management team to address their human resources needs through analysis of requirements, implementation of best practices, recommendations, and developing solutions to meet the organization’s needs. Northwestern Health Unit is committed to fostering and cultivating a healthy workplace for all employees.
