Description

As a Human Resources Officer at Riverina, your working location will be based in our Head Office in Milton. You will play a pivotal role within the Human Resources department, assisting a network of mills across Queensland and New South Wales. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers across mills and with head office to assist in recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Conduct structured check-ins and support for new hires to ensure success in their new roles.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
  • Help track and coordinate mandatory training and compliance across departments.
  • Contribute to workplace health and safety programs.
  • Assist employees with queries.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Support employee training and development initiatives and logistics.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Coordinate uniforms and travel arrangements.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
