Job description

Overview

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  2. Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling
  3. Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  4. Collect and screen applicants
  5. Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  6. Review candidate inventories
  7. Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  8. Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  9. Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  10. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  11. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  12. Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
  13. Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  14. Recruit and hire staff
