Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our organization. This role will focus on supporting, configuring, and maintaining our HRIS platform (Dayforce). The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring that our system is optimized, compliant, and aligned with organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the system expert for Dayforce.
  • Configure, maintain, and update HRIS modules, including policies, workflows, and reporting.
  • Diagnose system issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support HR processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead HRIS projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Ensure HRIS effectiveness in a unionized environment, adapting system processes to meet collective agreement requirements.
  • Develop, test, and roll out system updates and new functionalities.
  • Train HR staff and end-users on system usage and best practices.
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience, with a strong preference for Dayforce.
  • Proven experience configuring and maintaining HRIS systems in a unionized environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across teams.
  • Confident, professional, and able to stand firm when recommending best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide others.
