Job description

Role: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Crestline Coach - Saskatoon, SK

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday, with two days per week scheduled until 8:00pm to provide HR support to our night shift.

At Crestline Coach, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a leading Canadian manufacturer of ambulances and specialty vehicles, we are proud to support those who serve their communities every day. Our Human Resources team plays an important role in creating a workplace where employees feel supported, informed, and able to succeed.

As our organization continues to evolve, we are strengthening our HR operating model and transitioning payroll processing to JBPCO shared services. This creates an opportunity to broaden our onsite HR support while maintaining strong coordination of payroll, benefits, employee records, and day-to-day HR services.

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Saskatoon HR team. This role is a key onsite resource for employees and leaders, supporting payroll coordination, benefits and retirement programs, disability and WCB administration, HR systems and records, and routine HR guidance across our operations. The position also provides regular support to our night shift, helping ensure employees and leaders across shifts have consistent access to Human Resources.

Working closely with the HR Manager, HR Advisors, HR Specialists, Finance, JBPCO shared services, and external providers, you'll help ensure our HR programs and processes are administered accurately, consistently, and with a strong focus on employee service. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, organization, problem solving, and being connected to the day-to-day employee experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will:

  • Serve as the primary onsite liaison with JBPCO shared payroll services, coordinating payroll-impacting employee information and ensuring required changes are complete, accurate, and submitted within established timelines.
  • Review payroll information and reports, identify discrepancies, coordinate resolution of routine payroll issues, and support employees with payroll-related questions.
  • Coordinate payroll-related changes including compensation updates, shift changes, premiums, deductions, allowances, vacation payouts, referral payments, and other approved adjustments.
  • Administer employee group benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, dependent and beneficiary updates, and qualifying life events.
  • Coordinate RRSP and Registered Pension Plan (RPP) administration, including employee enrollment, account setup, contribution information, changes, and terminations.
  • Coordinate benefits and retirement program onboarding for eligible employees and support employee education initiatives in partnership with Total Rewards and Training & Development.
  • Coordinate Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) administration and provide administrative support for Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) claims and return-to-work documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation, including employee changes, leaves, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations.
  • Maintain employee information in Dayforce and other HR systems, complete routine data audits, support standard reporting, and assist with HR system administration and updates.
  • Provide routine HR support to employees and leaders across shifts, including regular night-shift support, and answer common questions related to policies, attendance, leaves, payroll, benefits, Dayforce, and established HR processes.
  • Support routine employee relations and attendance administration, including documentation, follow-up, and coordination of straightforward matters within established practices.
  • Assist with leave, accommodation, and return-to-work administration as directed and provide coordination support to HR Advisors and the HR Manager on investigations, performance management, and other employee matters.
  • Support employee communications, engagement initiatives, policy rollouts, HR programs, and cross-functional HR projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, service delivery, data accuracy, and administrative efficiency while recognizing when complex or unusual matters require escalation.

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will have:
