Job summary

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Limited in Ontario is seeking an HR Coordinator, Data & Systems to ensure HR data systems are integrated and provide real-time insights. You’ll optimize HR technology, support recruitment, benefits, and pensions, and drive automation to improve HR services.

The role requires experience with HRIS (Dayforce preferred), advanced Excel, and strong data analytics. Hybrid work options offered across Kitchener and Sault Ste.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a Human Resources, Business-related field, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in HR, HR Operations, HR systems, analytics, payroll, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills and a passion for working with data
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and meaningful business insights
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Dayforce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Must be bondable

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation of HRIS, including customization, development, maintenance, and data management
  • Generate various monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc HR reports, including employee details and usage reports
  • Process employee data such as new hires, departures, leaves, wage changes, benefit and pension enrolments, working hours, entitlements and other HR-related information
  • Lead and/or support HRIS upgrades, projects and system integrations
  • Create and manage user accounts, update employee information, and manage access permissions
  • Perform system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and management to identify system improvements and enhancements; serve as SME for core HR modules
  • Identify areas for improvement within HR processes and recommend enhancements using HRIS functionalities
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of HR data by conducting regular audits and maintaining data integrity
  • Train system users on functionalities and new features along with benefits of HRIS
  • Ensure the HRIS complies with relevant legislation and data protection requirements
  • Support day-to-day management of the employee recognition platform and ensure accuracy, while supporting users and data
  • Work with HR and stakeholders to streamline HR processes and data integration across systems
  • Provide excellent client service to internal and external parties and maintain effective relationships
  • Be aware of enterprise risk management issues as they relate to Human Resources

The Role
TheHR Coordinator, Data & Systems, plays an essential role in ensuring HR datasystems are seamlessly integrated across the organization and providingreal-time information to drive smart business decisions. The HR Coordinator hasa natural curiosity for understanding how things work and are always lookingfor opportunities to improve processes through automation. This position isresponsible for managing and optimizing HR technology systems to ensure theymeet the needs of the organization. In addition, this position plays animportant role in a variety of Human Resources programs and processes, includingbut not limited to recruitment, benefit and pension administration, recognitionplatform management, as well, helping to enhance HR analytics and analyze dataand systems to find smart ways to deliver HR services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • System Management: Oversee the daily operation of HRIS, including customization, development, maintenance, and data management.

  • Data Processing: Process employee data such as new hires, departures, leaves, wage changes, benefit and pension enrolments, working hours, entitlements and other HR-related information.

  • User Account Management: Create and manage user accounts, update employee information, and manage access permissions.

  • Work in partnership with HR and other stakeholders to streamline HR processes and data integration with other systems.
  • Provide excellent client service to internal and external parties and maintain effective relationships with various client groups.
  • Be aware of enterprise risk management issues as they relate to Human Resources.

Salary range: 65,000-70,000
The compensation offered tothe successful applicant for this role will be determined by the candidate’srelevant skills and experience and internal equity. More information about ourtotal rewards package will be available during the hiring process.
