Overview

Under the supervision of the Managing Director of the Shared Services Center of Canada, the selected candidate will ensure adherence to group policies and procedures related to human resources and support HR managers across the group's agencies.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Managing Director and support a hybrid working model.
  • Manage registration, monitoring, and control of HR data for approximately 2,500 employees in Canada, focusing on group insurance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR stakeholders in the group’s agencies regarding group insurance and RRSP administration.
  • Participate actively in insurance renewal processes and annual employee re-enrollment in collaboration with external actuaries.
  • Handle internal communications related to administrative changes, group activities, and translation of internal/external releases.
  • Coordinate with HR professionals locally and globally for deployment of new services and initiatives, including translation of documentation into French.
  • Engage in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for finance, payroll, IT, and facilities staff at Canadian sites; manage probation and termination processes per internal policies.
  • Act as the main contact for disability management and support return-to-work and employee accommodation planning.
  • Produce reports on staff evaluations, bonuses, salary adjustments, pay equity, and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Provide HR and administrative support to Montreal and Toronto employees.
  • Guide employees on corporate policies and procedures.
  • Advise managers on HR policies, labor relations, performance, workforce planning, employee relations, and compensation.
Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in human resources or administration.
  • At least 3 years of managerial HR experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English, with strong proficiency in French required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of SAP HR is an asset.
  • Strong work ethic, confidentiality, professional judgment, and team spirit.
