Job description

Four Counties Addiction Services Team (Fourcast) is a community-based addiction treatment service provider that strives to provide the highest quality of evidence-based addiction treatment and case management services. Fourcast offers services across 5 sites in the region. The community treatment program staff work in-office and community settings and are often co-located and integrated with other organizations to reduce barriers for those accessing services.

About The Position...

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources (HR) department in various administrative and operational functions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality. The Human Resources Generalist will contribute to the overall success of the HR team by assisting in areas such as recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, occupational health and safety, and documentation.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Human Resources, Business or Administration

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years experience in a progressive HR administrative support role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practices related to human resources, (e.g., Employment Standards, Human Rights, Freedom of Information).
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant tracking software an asset.
  • Experience working in a small organization in the non-profit sector is ideal.
  • Experience working independently in a cross functional team environment, prioritizing, organizing and problem-solving work.

Certificate, Licenses and Records

  • CHRP/CHRL designation or in pursuit of the designation is considered an asset.
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
