Join Our Team as a Human Resources Generalist!

Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to help drive our people-first culture and support our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, from crafting job postings to onboarding new team members.
  • Deliver exceptional employee experiences, including orientation, training programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support employees and managers with coaching, performance management, and HR guidance.
  • Manage employee files, benefits, wage agreements, and HR documentation.
  • Champion employee engagement by coordinating team events, recognition programs, and internal communications.
  • Oversee health and safety onboarding, tailgate topics, PPE distribution, and Joint Health & Safety Committee participation.
  • Assist with HR programs, newsletters, retention strategies, and continuous improvement projects.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of HR Generalist experience (construction or landscaping experience is a bonus)
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources (CHRP designation is an asset).
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, people-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
