Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to provide advisory and operational support for our BSO service lines in Canada, reporting to the HR Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

  • Serving as the key HR point of contact, advising employees and front-line leaders on all aspects of talent management and employee experience
  • Working with HR Centers of Expertise and business leaders to deliver the BDO talent experience – to Attract, Engage, and Grow our people
  • Enabling leaders to effectively engage and develop their teams
  • Advising employees and leaders on all talent-related matters, including employee relations, engagement, performance, compensation, organizational structure, workforce planning, inclusion and diversity, development, recruitment, and policy application.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to deliver all elements of the National Talent Strategy across the Assurance and BSO service lines
  • Providing reporting and analytics support to the HR Manager to help shape the National Talent Strategy
  • Assisting with recruitment activities in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team
  • Participating in national HR projects

Your experience and education

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience

  • Curious and proactive problem solver who develops solutions that enable firm, professional, and personal success

  • Comfortable facilitating presentations and discussions
  • Post-secondary graduate with a degree or diploma in HR, with a CHRP designation completed or in progress
