Our client, a well-established company in the Quebec region specializing in managing construction projects in remote locations, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for staffing and training. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will play a central role in planning and coordinating the site personnel, while ensuring the follow-up of essential training for the performance of the teams on the ground.
Tasks
- Manage staffing for site employees and monitor workforce needs.
- Collaborate with project managers to organize and adjust the allocation of workers based on project requirements.
- Follow up with employees and candidates by answering their questions and requests.
- Manage documents and ensure compliance with labor-related legal obligations, including those from the CCQ.
- Manage training and development.
- Organize and plan mandatory and site-specific training.
- Track employee certifications and ensure their renewal according to deadlines.
- Participate in the continuous evaluation of workers' skills on-site in collaboration with project managers.
- Contribute to updating internal company policies and optimizing HR processes.
- Assist in preparing meetings and managing annual events.
- Support the HR team with special projects and initiatives.
- Assume on-call rotation every three weeks, with required office presence until 5 p.m. during high season and until 4 p.m. during low season.
- Collaborate with the director and internal teams.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in French (oral and written).
- Intermediate and professional proficiency in English (40% of communications are in English with various stakeholders).
- Comfortable with technology and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in the construction sector (asset).
- Experience in a multi-company environment (asset).
- CCQ experience (asset).
