A community healthcare provider in Burlington is seeking an HR Coordinator to support their healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will assist with daily HR tasks, manage Workers Compensation claims, and participate in health and safety programs. As the Human Resources Coordinator you will handle or assist with daily HR tasks at the Branch Office, such as maintaining employee records. This important role will receive HR questions and assist with Workers Compensation claims. Additionally, you will participate in health and safety programs, and help with quality improvement efforts.
Some responsibilities to expect :
Support branch capacity enhancement through engagement and retention initiatives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee human resources files
Provide assistance with payroll and benefits inquiries
Stay informed on provincial employment legislation and support compliance efforts

We offer :
Education
Completion of a recognized Business, Human Resource or Administrative certificate or diploma program. JHSC Certification Parts1&2
Experience
A minimum of two years administrative experience, preferably in the Healthcare industry
Previous experience with Worker's Compensation claims and documentation
Other Skills and Abilities
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; ability to work independently and as part of a team; competency in keyboarding and Windows software; ability to operate all standard office equipment; commitment to continued learning.
