Alberici Constructors Ltd. is looking for an HR Coordinator to provide essential administrative and logistical support to HR programs and processes. This role supports functions such as learning and development, employee life cycle and records management, and internal communication platforms. The HR Coordinator is responsible for employee wellness, recognition, social events/programs, and managing HR metrics and reporting. With a focus on organization and detail, this role helps ensure smooth HR operations that foster a positive employee experience across Alberici Canada.

About the Role

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to HR programs and processes, including learning and development, employee lifecycle, records management, and internal communications. This position is primarily based in Burlington, Ontario, with occasional visits to project sites. Flexible remote work arrangements may be available.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support HR programs and processes administratively and logistically
  2. Assist with employee lifecycle processes
  3. Coordinate logistics for training and development sessions
  4. Organize employee wellness events and programs
  5. Manage internal communications, webpages, guides, and policies
  6. Administer the Remote Work Policy requests
  7. Coordinate HR meetings, including agendas and minutes
  8. Respond to employee and leader inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  9. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and trust
  10. Lead and manage Employee Wellness Programs and recognition initiatives
  11. Plan and execute social and corporate events
  12. Improve HR programs based on feedback and research
  13. Develop and maintain HR procedures, checklists, and reports
  14. Support other HR initiatives, including recruitment and training
  15. Collaborate with the HR team to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive culture

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field
  • 1-3 years of HR or administrative support experience
  • Knowledge of HR programs, employment laws, and regulations
  • Experience with HRIS systems (or willingness to learn)
  • Working towards or holding CHRP/CHL designation preferred
  • Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area; valid Ontario driver’s license or transportation required
