A community-focused non-profit organization is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to manage HR functions, support recruitment, and develop policies in a hybrid work environment. Reports to : Executive Leadership Team of Niwasa Kendaaswin Teg & HOTINOHSIONI INC. Brantford Native Housing
Location : Hybrid, Brantford, Hamilton, ON
Hours : 40 hours per week, some flexibility

Since its establishment in 1986, Hotinohsioni Inc. Brantford Native Housing (BNH) has been dedicated to its mission of offering safe, dignified, and wrap-around housing program options for urban and rural Indigenous peoples. BNH prides itself on providing a housing approach from a For Indigenous, By Indigenous (FIBI) framework and holds true to our mission to support the urban & rural Indigenous community in Brantford and Brant County, ON. BNH provides tenant and community cultural support services, property management, and maintenance.
Job Summary :
This is a shared position between Niwasa Kendaaswin Teg and HOTINOHSIONI INC. Brantford Native Housing. The Human Resource Coordinator will support the HR needs of both organizations, allocating time at each organization as needed. The position will support a hybrid working model.
The Human Resources Coordinator for our not-for-profit organization will play a vital role in supporting the overall mission by effectively managing human resources functions. This role involves implementing HR policies, recruiting, and retaining diverse talent, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The Human Resources Coordinator will contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment aligned with the organization’s values and goals.
