About the Role :

As an HR Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients maximize the value of Rippling’s HR solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through HR technology implementation, process optimization, compliance, and best practices in workforce management. Your expertise will ensure our clients' people operations run efficiently and compliantly demonstrating the impact that HR strategy has on their business growth.

You’ll join a remote-first, client-focused team that thrives on solving HR challenges, streamlining operations through technology, and improving the employee experience through innovative HR solutions.

This role is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension.

Compensation : $30-$45 / hour

What You’ll Do :

  • Partner with clients to implement and optimize Rippling’s HR modules, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR strategy, compliance, and best practices, helping clients align HR processes with their broader business goals.
  • Configure and customize Rippling’s platform to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring seamless integration with their existing systems.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with Canadian and US employment laws, tax regulations, and HR policies, ensuring businesses remain compliant.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, recommend process improvements, and implement automation where possible to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct training sessions for client teams on Rippling functionalities, empowering them to leverage the platform effectively.
  • Support HR-related reporting, analytics, and audits, ensuring data integrity across workforce management systems.
  • Advise on talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and other key HR functions within Rippling.

What We’re Looking For :

  • 4+ years of experience in HR, payroll, or people operations, with a strong background in HR technology.
  • 2+ years of HRIS administration experience. Experience working with Rippling is preferred but not required, with the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and improve workflows.
  • Previous experience in a consultancy setting or managing multiple client accounts is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and / or US HR regulations, employment law, and payroll compliance.
  • Ability to translate HR best practices into actionable strategies within Rippling.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to advise clients and drive HR transformations.
  • A solutions-driven mindset, with a passion for process improvement and leveraging automation.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive HR data.
