Business partnering with the Aecon Human Resources team, reporting to the HR Director, this role is integral to providing effective end-to-end HR support to all levels of the organization to facilitate meeting business objectives.
What You’ll Do Here :
- Partner with business units to provide end-to-end HR support in the areas of talent management, employee relations, disability management, workforce planning and analytics, annual compensation planning, employee engagement, training and development and HR programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups, broader HR team in operations and HR Centres of Excellence in support of matrix functional groups, knowledge sharing and company wide HR programs and initiatives
- Support and mentor more junior level team members and ensure they have appropriate context to best support the business
- Deliver and maintain a cadence of consistent, impactful, and targeted HR activities in support of each client group’s unique needs
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to facilitate incremental positive changes to key metrics impacting business imperatives
- Actively participate in aligning HR activities to the 2024 to 2027 HR Strategic Plan
What You Bring to the Team :
- HR Practitioner -Demonstrated HR business partnering experience with all levels of an organization in the areas of employment law, talent management, employee relations, disability management, workforce analytics, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development and HR programs
- Relationship Broker– Excellent builder of trusted relationships and experienced mediator
- Consulting– Seen as credible advisor with an understanding of financial and business acumen
- Strategic Courage – Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and able to effectively engage clients and HR colleaguesat all levels of the organization and challenge in a constructive way
- Data Acumen – Able to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions
