We are currently looking for a Business Partner, People and Engagement (HR Business Partner), to join our team reporting to the VP, Human Resources.

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Corporate Functions across multiple locations. You will be a key advisor and trusted partner to business leaders across the organization. In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional HR administration by helping shape and implement people strategies that drive performance, support organizational growth, and promote a high-trust, high-impact culture.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Partner closely with line managers to provide guidance on HR matters.
  • Lead initiatives in performance management, employee relations, compensation, organizational development, and compliance.
  • Act as a liaison for internal audits and oversee related coordination.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Coordinate HR communications in collaboration with internal communications.
  • Manage the HR budget, including vendor relationships and invoice tracking.

You’ll also work collaboratively with subject matter experts across the broader HR team (including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, L&D, Employment Law, and Payroll) to deliver streamlined, effective solutions tailored to business needs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • 5 to 10 years of HR / Employee Relations experience in fast-paced, complex environments (financial services an asset).
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • Fully bilingual (English & French) – essential for supporting leaders across Canada.
  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives and driving organizational transformation.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (Workday an asset) and strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of Quebec and Ontario employment laws.
  • Demonstrated agility, resilience, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
