Job summary

Achev in Mississauga is recruiting an HR Business Partner to provide responsive HR support to operational teams, ensuring consistent policy application and proactive HRIS maintenance.

You will manage the HR inbox, assist in HR initiatives, partner with leaders on employee relations, and help engage staff through culture and programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• At least 2 years in an HRBP, HR Operations, or similar role.
• Experience with HRIS, policy interpretation, and supporting managers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for daily staff inquiries and HRIS updates.
• Provide operational support to the Head of HR and Senior HR Manager.
• Maintain the HR inbox with timely replies to communications.
• Maintain the HR tracker ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.
• Guide on entry-level employee relations issues.
• Participate in internal committees and organization-wide initiatives.
• Assist in preparing materials for internal HR meetings.
• Contribute to ad hoc HR projects and research.

Position Summary

The HR Business Partner provides responsive and practical HR support to operational teams enhancing the employee experience. This role ensures the consistent application of HR policies, monitors HR inbox correspondence, and supports operational HR projects and HRIS maintenance and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Operational HR Support & Employee Experience

• Serve as the primary HR contact for daily staff inquiries and HRIS-related updates and inquiries
• Provide operational support to the Head of HR and Senior HR Manager in implementing HR initiatives and programs.
• Maintain the HR inbox, ensuring timely reply to all communications
• Maintain the HR tracker to ensure all employees inquiries are resolved within expected timeline
• Provide guidance on entry-level employee relations issues
• Participate in internal committees and organization-wide initiatives to strengthen culture and engagement.
• Assist in preparing materials, summaries, and logistics for internal meetings for HR initiatives.
• Contribute to ad hoc HR projects and research assignments

• Manages HRIS maintenance and optimization ensuring the system is up to date with all new fields such as ( new jobs, titles, GL…etc)
• Maintain HRIS training and user support materials
• Develop and deliver training sessions for HRIS users across the organization.
• Recommend HRIS enhancements to optimize efficiency.
• Actively participate in HR Committee as needed

Other Duties as Assigned

• Perform additional responsibilities as required to support departmental goals and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner, HR Operations, or similar operational HR role.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms, HR administration, employee relations, policy interpretation, and supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced environment.

Salary rate: $67,500.00
