Job Description:

  • Collaborate with leaders on strategic workforce planning, succession, and talent development to build strong, future-ready teams.
  • Partner with our Global Centers of Excellence to bring HR programs to life—ensuring they’re not just implemented, but impactful.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, leadership coaching, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Navigate complex workplace matters, including investigations, progressive discipline, and terminations, with professionalism and empathy.
  • Act as a key liaison with Union Business Representatives, supporting a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  • Design and support career development plans, identify training needs, and help foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Lead the execution of core HR programs like compensation planning, performance management, and talent reviews.
  • Be a change champion, helping teams adapt and thrive through transformation.
  • Communicate HR initiatives clearly and consistently, ensuring employees feel informed, supported, and engaged.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a unionized, industrial environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday is an asset).
  • CPHR designation or progress toward completion is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to influence, coach, and drive change across all levels of the organization.
