A leading company in the self-storage sector is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in Calgary to support and manage the employee lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with operations teams, driving HR initiatives, and improving organizational development through effective HR guidance. As the Human Resources Business Partner you will work collaboratively with the Operations team to support with all aspects of the employee life cycle.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Partner closely with business operations leaders to understand their objectives and align HR initiatives that drive results.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing best-in-class HR guidance on topics including workforce planning, organizational development, employee engagement, and productivity.
Collaborate with the HR leadership team to shape and execute our People strategy, acting as a key liaison between HR and business units.
Drive talent acquisition efforts in partnership with the recruiting team, ensuring timely and effective execution of hiring plans.
Lead and support full employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, HRIS updates, employee changes, and offboarding.
Coach managers on performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, development planning, and performance improvement plans.
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and compliance.
Conduct internal investigations and make recommendations based on findings to mitigate risk and support a positive workplace culture.
Evaluate existing HR programs and policies, recommending improvements that support scalability and business growth.
Support the implementation of corporate-wide People & Culture initiatives, ensuring adoption and effectiveness across teams.
Drive data-informed decisions through regular tracking and reporting of key people metrics.
