What You’ll Do
  1. Build trusted relationships with employees and leaders, serving as a valued advisor and problem solver.
  2. Navigate complex employee relations issues with a balance of empathy and pragmatism.
  3. Guide managers through performance management, progressive discipline, and workplace conflict resolution.
  4. Support labour relations by interpreting collective agreements and managing grievances.
  5. Conduct workplace investigations and culture assessments to ensure a fair and inclusive work environment.
  6. Lead job evaluation and compensation discussions to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
  7. Provide insights on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices to drive organizational success.

What You Bring
  1. Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of HR experience in a unionized environment (public sector experience preferred).
  3. Strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Labour Relations legislation.
  4. Experience with workplace investigations, HRIS, and talent management software is an asset.

This position works a 35 hour work week and pays between $52.98 and $56.60 per hour.
