While other firms are consolidating, Futures First is expanding and has been operating worldwide for more than 15 years employing hundreds of the brightest and most competitive market analysts. Our Montreal Branch is a young, diverse, dynamic team growing rapidly.

We’re on the lookout for an HR Associate who’s ready to bring the heart to Human Resources. You’ll help shape our team culture, support employees, and make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly!

Responsibilities:

  1. HR Processes & Data
  2. Participate in the recruitment process
  3. Process HRIS transactions (hires, personal data changes, promotions, terminations, etc.)
  4. Create and publish job postings and company updates on LinkedIn and other social media platforms to support recruiting and employer branding efforts
  5. Get creative with company social events and team bonding activities
  6. Detail-oriented: Assist and ensure accuracy with annual and monthly processes (performance review process, payroll, etc.)
  7. Participate in various HR projects and initiatives including training planning and implementation, succession, and compensation planning
  8. Maintain and review partnership with universities annually
  9. Keep appraised & updated on new regulations, labour legislation, company policies & procedures

Administrative:

  1. Keep our employee and HR manuals in check and up to date
  2. Plan logistics for employee meetings, events, training, including reservations, meetings, accommodations, and suppliers
  3. Administer payroll, manage employee benefits packages, and ensure compliance with wage and benefit regulations.
  4. Liaise with vendors to get quotes, place orders, process invoices and payments, etc.
  5. Manage purchases of office supplies as required

Qualifications:

  1. Interpersonal skills
  2. Strong communicator in written and oral: Effectively communicates with employees at all levels, fostering transparency and trust.
  3. Bilingual French / English
  4. Comfortable using Teams and the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Experience working with ADP TeamPay is an asset but not required
  6. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  7. Experience working in HR role or related positions an asset, but not needed
