Job Description: Human Resources Assistant

About Us: Pacific Smoke is a Canadian company that’s been around since 2013, and our specialty is manufacturing and distributing e-cigarettes, vaping products, and all the accessories. Our vision and mission are all about helping people quit smoking cigarettes.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will help with recruitment processes, maintain employee records, assist in payroll preparation, and provide clerical support to all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring teams
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires
  • Assist with input and maintenance of employee benefits
  • Maintain and organize HR records, both digital and physical
  • Assist in planning employee engagement activities and events
  • Conduct basic research on HR best practices and contribute to process improvements
  • Help with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
