Our client, a purpose-driven, multi-site organization operating across unionized and non-unionized environments, is seeking an experienced and visionary Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development Manager to support its people strategy and organizational effectiveness across several locations in Ontario.

The Strategic HR and OD Manager will partner closely with senior leadership and department heads to shape HR strategies that enhance workforce performance, leadership capabilities, and long-term organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will offer both strategic foresight and hands-on execution, providing expert guidance on Labor Relations, Employee Engagement, Organizational Design, and Talent Development across international operations.

This highly collaborative and transformational position requires strong business acumen, a proactive change management approach, and the ability to build credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels. From shaping organizational design frameworks to leading talent development strategies and advancing workforce planning, the incumbent will ensure the delivery of scalable solutions that foster high performance and growth.

We are seeking a seasoned HR Leader with progressive experience in strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development, including direct experience supporting unionized environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of HR best practices, Labour Relations, and compliance, along with a proven track record of leading change, developing people strategies, and utilizing data to inform decision-making. A strong communicator and coach, this individual is passionate about driving meaningful organizational impact through people-focused initiatives.
