RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (The Institute), an international research powerhouse with a worldwide reputation in biomedical sciences and health care, is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join its dynamic team.
The incumbent provides strategic and operational guidance and support to The Institute’s researchers and managers on human resources matters affecting their laboratory or division's operations. They work closely with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize HR programs and processes.
General Duties
Reporting to the Human Resources Supervisor, the incumbent’s main responsibilities include :

Education : Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study : Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
Other Education Considered An Asset For This Position
Work Experience : Five (5) years of experience in Human Resources

Additional information
Status : Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek), this is a maternity leave replacement for approximately one year, starting at the end of May or early June.
Pay Scale : $49,722.40 - $92,346.80 Commensurate with education & work experience.
Work Shift : Monday to Friday 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm.
Work Site : Remote.
This is a primarily remote position, however, on-site presence will be required as needed to support clients, attend monthly in-person meetings, and participate in other on-site events as necessary.
