Fluor Canada is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and business-partner-minded Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team in Calgary, supporting management and employees in an HR Generalist capacity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide advice, guidance, interpretation of HR policies, programs, and employment legislation.
  • Coordinate actions, strategy, and conversations around the employee life cycle (leaves of absences, modified work schedules, employment verification, assignment/mobility, and departures).
  • Coach and assist managers on employee engagement and performance management.
  • Conduct workplace employee relations investigations from start to finish, managing with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Support office leadership with respect to compensation administration.
  • Collaborate with the Canada HR team, corporate centers of excellence (COEs), and other HR groups within Fluor to deliver effective HR support.
  • Assist the business with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
  • Lead special projects to address strategic people needs.
  • Support office leadership through the annual talent cycle.
  • Provide facilitation support to functions when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including portfolio responsibilities.
