Where people and operational excellence meet!
Are you ready to build a People experience that’s human, scalable, and rooted in our business reality? Coveo is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join our People Strategy & Operations team and work closely with HR Business Partners, Legal, Compensation, and Leadership to ensure smooth employee lifecycle operations.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role: perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to deepen their knowledge of HR processes, systems, and business partnering! In addition, you’ll also get the chance to expand your impact in talent management, internal communications, and learning & development - there’s plenty of room to grow!
As Our Human Resources Advisor, You Will
- Propose salary recommendations for new hires by assessing experience and ensuring internal equity, and support with ad hoc equity analyses.
- Coordinate employee exits with fairness and compliance, partnering closely with Legal, Leaders, HR Shared Services and HR Business Partners.
- Execute employee lifecycle operations in Workday (e.g., headcount changes, reorganizations, job updates) and help improve associated workflows.
- Support front-line managers on HR questions through channels like Slack, and assist our HR Shared Services team as needed.
- Document internal knowledge, processes, and programs, then improve them with an eye for clarity, compliance, and scale!
- Contribute to manager enablement, employee engagement, and Talent Management initiatives such as Talent Reviews, performance plans, surveys, and internal communications.
Here Is What Will Qualify You For The Role
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, ideally in a generalist, HR ops, or coordination role with exposure to HR systems, compensation, and terminations.
- Familiarity with global employment legislation (Canada, US, Europe).
- Experience managing employee movements and operating within an HRIS like Workday.
- Bilingual communication skills (French and English), with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to support our international teams.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- A business-first mindset, with the ability to assess priorities, act fast, and keep scalability in mind.
- Experience working with managers on sensitive matters (terminations, leaves, performance plans).
- A bias for structure and clarity, plus the initiative to improve what’s unclear or inefficient.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial and curious mindset: you’re the kind of person who sees something broken and wants to fix it (and document it)!
Do you think you can bring this role to life? Or add your own color? You don’t need to check every single box; passion goes a long way and we appreciate that skillsets are transferable.
