Ecclesiastical Insurance Canada , who are proudly part of Benefact Group , are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our downtown Toronto office.

The Human Resources team is on the lookout for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join us. This opportunity is perfect for a recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience with a dynamic team.

Based in our downtown Toronto office, you'll join the Human Resources team and will be supporting our regions with various HR Administrator tasks. They will be responsible for all aspects related to the effective operation of the Human Resources office. The individual will also be called upon to support ad-sock projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide support to associates with human resources inquiries.
  • Draft various types of correspondence and reports.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and research tasks.
  • Create and update communication materials.
  • Act as a liaison with departments and staff at all levels.
  • Maintain accurate employee files.
  • Arrange and schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new staff.
  • Help maintain policies and manuals.
  • Support training initiatives.

What you'll need to have

  • Preferred : Post-graduate degree or equivalent in Human Resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2-3 years of related HR experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the ADP platform is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
