Job summary

UPS is hiring for a part-time, on-site warehouse associate in Surrey, BC. The role involves updating package information, validating delivery data, scanning premium service packages, and supporting dispatch with reports.

Work is Mon–Fri, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM (up to 25 hrs/week). Expect 18.15–19.13 CAD/hour with benefits after probation and opportunities for advancement within UPS.

Qualifications

• Plus 1 year of warehouse environment experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted; typical 25–35 lbs.
• Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and multitask skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes package and inventory recovery process.
• Completes overgood process and documentation.
• Generates package recovery and overgood process reports for Hub Operations and Package Care.
• Processes Dangerous Goods (DG) package recovery.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings.
• Operates all office equipment (heavy machinery), software, and devices.
• Mains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Job Description

This position is responsible for updating package information, validating delivery information using UPS systems, scanning premium service packages, assisting dispatch and updating the package inventory systems. This role may also perform general administrative responsibilities including preparation of reports using various software packages, compilation of information from various sources, and handling small scale projects.

Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)

Shift Hours

11.00 AM to 4.00 PM (must be able to work up to 25 hrs. per week)

Shift Duration

5 hours a day (requires flexibility with the Finish time)
