Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Home Support Workers to join our amazing team as we continue our 50+ year tradition of providing high-quality care to our community. We offer you the chance to make a difference and do meaningful work within the settings and schedules that match your needs and interests.
We provide 4 weeks of classroom + hands-on training, paid hourly, Monday – Friday. You learn the fundamentals to become a Home Support Worker. Upon completion of training, you start working immediately with Bayshore clients in the local community.
No prior healthcare experience required.
With Bayshore's paid training program, you can start working as a caregiver within four weeks from your start date.
Who You Are:
You have a positive and friendly approach to interacting with all types of people.
You are ready to learn new skills and start working immediately after the training period.
You are available to attend 4 weeks paid training Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
You seek regular, guaranteed work hours each week in a full-time or part-time position.
You have a G or G2 Driver's License and a personal vehicle to drive independently each workday.
You are willing to drive in a scheduling area from client to client each workday.
You can work 3-4 weekdays + every other Saturday and Sunday.
You are dedicated to providing high-quality care services to clients.

A Day in the Life as a Bayshore HSW:
You will be supported by your Administrative Team and Leaders who are available to you 24/7. You will be scheduled with clients (home to home) to provide high-quality and compassionate care in the community with exceptional customer service.

No healthcare certificate or prior experience is required but considered an asset.
Other experience that prepares you for HSW Training- housekeeping, hospitality, dietary aide, companionship, foreign trained caregiver, informal caregiving experience.
