Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as ourQA/H&S Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

Audit & Compliance Management

  • Manage the Steritech second-party audit program, including scheduling, execution, budgets and reporting.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on Steritech systems to enhance audit performance.
  • Analyze audit and compliance data to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Develop and implement Steritech training programs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement of safety programs.
  • Represent the company in discussions with regulatory agencies, clients, and industry stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Developing strategies and plans for data management and systems, and ensuring their effective implementation.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze safety and compliance data, including audits and incidents.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track performance and highlight risks.
  • Use our data systems to support risk management, compliance, and training initiatives.
  • Developing and building reporting solutions and automating processes to support data-driven decision-making..
  • Integrate data insights into safety protocols and improvement strategies.
  • Support budget tracking, invoicing, and financial processes for safety programs.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional teams.
  • Leading strategic projects and supporting departmental projects and tasks
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Lead cross-departmental initiatives to elevate data-driven decision-making.
  • Effectively conveying information, providing feedback, and actively listening to team members.
  • Distributing tasks and responsibilities to team members, empowering them to take ownership.
  • Making informed choices based on available information and considering potential outcomes.
  • Addressing disagreements and finding solutions that benefit the team and the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety, or related field preferred
• Certifications (e.g., Public Health, HACCP, CRSP, CHSC, OSHA) preferred.
• Experience in food safety, OH&S, or quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office, and SmartSheets.
• Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
• French language skills are an asset.
