The High-Speed Interfaces Silicon Validation team is looking for an individual to join our team to support the silicon lab validation activities for our ultra-high-speed (100Gbps+) network communication devices. Be part of a fast moving, enthusiastic, and dynamic team made up of validation, application, system, and mixed signal design engineers. You will have the opportunity to work to further develop and enhance your statistical data analysis capabilities in addition to working on bleeding edge semiconductor technology.
Position Overview
In this role as a Product Engineer, you will be working in a team environment validating and characterizing the next generation of ultra-high-speed interfaces, referred to Serial - De-serializer (SerDes) transceivers in System-on-Chip (SOC) designs for electrical and optical applications. You will be responsible for characterization activities, including parsing and analyzing data, analyzing and correlating Fab Wafer Acceptance Test (WAT) data to custom device process monitors, creating and implementing Design of Experiments (DOE) and Gauge R&R activities, as well as writing validation reports on functionality and performance of the device. Additional responsibilities will include interfacing with the ATE test engineers to acquire production test data and correlate these results to validation data. This will be used to relay back to the design team on effectiveness of design and suggest improvements to future designs. General requirements will be provided, however, you will be highly encouraged to impart your analytical thinking, statistical analysis, and programming creativity. It is important to us to get your fresh perspective and thinking on what we do on a regular basis.
