Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to support operations across Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you will advise project teams, implement HSE programs, and conduct site visits to promote a strong safety culture.

You will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and energy units, leverage digital tools, and contribute to risk assessment and training initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an HSE role.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools and a strong interest in innovation.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Overview

We are seeking a passionate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to support our operations across Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you will play a key role in supporting multidisciplinary teams working in the engineering, environmental, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

Your Role

About You

• College diploma (DEC) or university degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE role.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools and a strong interest in innovation.
• Bilingualism in French and English. *

* Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.

Assets

• Experience in the energy, infrastructure, industrial, or construction sectors.
• Health and safety certification (ASP Construction, CRST, PSAC, or equivalent).
