Job summary

Bantrel Co. is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join the Corporate Services team, based at the Jansen project site in Leroy, Saskatchewan.

The role focuses on monitoring the Project HSE Plan, championing Field Leadership, and ensuring contractor compliance with safety regulations. The position involves a 15 days on / 13 days off rotation with responsibilities across incident investigations, field leadership observations, and safety training.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years’ experience in safety roles within heavy industrial or mining workplaces.
• OHS certification such as CRSP, CSP, NEBOSH desirable; combination with experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and influence field leadership to manage HSE risks.
• Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan OH&S regulations and company policies.
• Provide HSE direction to superintendents, engineers, coordinators and subcontractors.
• Conduct weekly inspections and safety meetings; report incidents and trends.
